OLD PHOTOGRAPHS OF KIRKHEATON AND DISTRICT
The local history group researching Kirkheaton people who fought in WW1 are planning an exhibition in August. We would also like to show life in the village about this time through photographs, postcards or items of general interest. The following photograph of Shop Lane about 1910 shows what today is the junction with Orchard Road.
Some things in the village have changed dramatically whilst others have not. We would like to capture these for future generations.
If you have any old photographs, postcards or other items you would be willing to allow us to copy then please contact (firstname.lastname@example.org or John on 01484 304461 )
