To commemorate the start of World War Two, Kirkheaton History Group are planning to organise an exhibition at the Kirkheaton Community Centre. This will commence on Monday 2nd September and run for two weeks.
The theme of the exhibition is “Life in Kirkheaton during World War Two.”

12 December 1940, when a bomb – reported to be a V-1 ‘doodlebug’ – damaged homes in Grange Moor.
