Researchers from Exeter University have found that people who volunteer have reduced their risk of dying earlier by over a fifth!

The review of 40 scientific papers  found that volunteering ‘is associated with improvements in mental health’ – volunteers are less likely to suffer from depression and have higher levels of satisfaction and wellbeing.

So join us! You know it makes sense and it’s likely to help you live a longer and healthier life!

We need volunteers to help in a number of areas including gardening the community spaces and in the near future, supporting the library and coffee shop.
